The classic web thermometer from Wiesemann & Theis measures temperature and humidity via a combination sensor.
Temperature and humidity are measured via the combination sensor of the web thermo-hygrometer.
The unit is not equipped with any other outputs.
The web thermometer is connected to the network via a normal patch cable. For integration into industrial applications, NMS or automation solutions, various network protocols can be used at the application level. Furthermore, data access via TCP or UDP is possible.
Up to twelve alarm actions can be configured which, depending on the measured values, trigger, among other things, an MQTT publish, an HTTP post, an SNMP trap or the sending of an e-mail.
The unit’s data logger stores measured values that accumulate over a period of 12 weeks to 20 years. This depends on the storage frequency (1/12s to 1/60m). The data can be exported as CSV or sent by e-mail.
Node-RED and W&T Cloud
W&T operates its own cloud, to which customers can optionally transfer their measured values and view them worldwide. Furthermore, Node-RED connectors are available for all web thermometers.
