The Didactum Monitoring System 100 IT basic protection is equipped with a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a smoke detector and a sensor for water leakage. The four sensor ports and the four dry contact inputs can be used to integrate additional sensors as well as signaling floating contacts. A surveillance camera can also be connected to the USB port.

Thanks to its full SNMPv1/v2c/v3 compatibility, this remote monitoring solution supports Network-Management-Systems (NMS) such as Nagios, OpenNMS, Zabbix and PRTG. An LTE modem can be retrofitted for integration into mobile networks. The integrated OpenVPN client allows convenient monitoring of server rooms at remote locations. This makes the Monitoring System 100 IT basic protection particularly suitable for IT service providers.
This remote monitor records measured values, displays them graphically in the responsive webGUI and supports export via CSV and XML file. The capacity of the data logger is sufficient for measured values of about half a year and can be expanded to up to 64 GB via USB memory stick.
The USB interface allows the connection of an USB video cameras. The image material can be retrieved live via the user interface and forwarded via FTP upload and e-mail. In addition, images from up to four IP cameras can be displayed in the user interface. Video data is not stored on the device.
The Didactum monitoring system 100 IT basic protection can be expanded with additional sensors and actuators: Motion sensors, vibration sensors and magnetic door contact sensors indicate unauthorized access and physical dangers.
