Didactum Security GmbH, a provider of monitoring systems for data centers and server rooms, is expanding its product range to include web thermometers from Wiesemann und Theis, a manufacturer based in Wuppertal, Germany.

Wiesemann and Theis web thermometers have been developed and produced since the beginning of the millennium. The systems are characterized by a wide range of supported M2M protocols, which is why the web thermometers can be used for a wide range of applications. They are suitable for industrial applications and, thanks to their top-hat rail mounting, can be installed in the control cabinet in just a few steps.

In addition to simple web thermometers, for recording temperature and humidity, Wiesemann and Theis also offer web sensors for highly specialized applications.

Record temperature at any location: The WuT Pt100/Pt1000 web thermometers

The W&T web thermometers with Pt100/Pt1000 measuring input support the connection of any platinum resistance sensors with 2-, 3- and 4-wire connection. Thus, you can monitor everything from the outside temperature to the inside temperature of ovens and provide the measured values via Ethernet.

Monitor climate values at high humidity: The WuT Web-Thermo-Hygrometer ++

The Web-Thermo-Hygrometer has a drift-free sensor for humidity. This is suitable for use in environments with permanently high relative humidity. Most available sensors for air humidity show saturation symptoms after a short time if they are exposed to high air humidity. This leads to increasing measurement uncertainty. This problem is solved with the drift-free sensor for humidity. The Web-Thermo-Hygrometer ++ is suitable for monitoring in tropical houses and greenhouses, in cooling chambers, in ripening chambers or in the paper industry.

Monitor air quality with the WuT Web-Thermometer CO2 and the WuT Web-Thermometer Air Quality

The Web-Thermometer CO2 and Air Quality from Wiesemann & Theis monitor not only temperature and humidity, but also the CO2 content of the air, or the proportion of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the ambient air. This allows you to monitor, for example, the proportion of potentially pathogenic aerosols, ripening gases and indicate oxygen deficiency. When adjustable limit values are exceeded, you send an alarm message and thus protect your employees, students or guests from airborne hazards and support you in maintaining a room climate that promotes health and concentration.

The other web thermometers from Wiesemann and Theis are also available from Didactum Security: The classic, the web thermo hygrometer records temperature and humidity. The Web-Thermo-Hygrobarometer monitors temperature, humidity and air pressure. The web thermometer relay switches a relay output when limits are exceeded and the web thermometer NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) records temperatures via hot conductor resistance, unlike the web thermometer Pt100/Pt100 which records temperatures via resistance sensors which conduct better at cold temperatures.
